چکیده
Multi-objective reliability-based design optimization (MORBDO) is an efficient tool for generating reliable Pareto-optimal (PO) solutions. However, such PO solutions requires many function evaluations reliability analysis, thereby increasing the computational cost. In this paper, a single-loop multi-objective formulation proposed that approximates analysis using Karush-Kuhn Tucker (KKT) optimality conditions. Further, chaos control theory used updating point estimated through KKT conditions avoiding any convergence issues. order to generate in feasible region, also incorporates shifting vector approach. The MORBDO solved differential evolution (DE) uses heuristic parameter based on hypervolume indicator performing different mutation operators. DE incorporating tested two mathematical and one engineering examples. results demonstrate generation of better set method over double-loop variant DE. Moreover, 6×–377× less functional than double-loop-based

MULTI-OBJECTIVE OPTIMIZATION OF ARCH DAMS USING DIFFERENTIAL EVOLUTION METHODS
For optimization of real-world arch dams, it is unavoidable to consider two or more conflicting objectives. This paper employs two multi-objective differential evolution algorithms (MoDE) in combination of a parallel working MATLAB-APDL code to obtain a set of Pareto solutions for optimal shape of arch dams. Full dam-reservoir interaction subjected to seismic loading is considered. A benchmark ...
متن کاملRELIABILITY-BASED MULTI-OBJECTIVE OPTIMAL DESIGN OF SPATIAL TRUSSES USING GAME THEORY AND GA
This paper introduces a reliability-based multi-objective design method for spatial truss structures. A multi-objective optimization problem has been defined considering three conflicting objective functions including truss weight, nodal deflection, and failure probability of the entire truss structure with design variables of cross sectional area of the truss members. The failure probability o...
متن کاملMulti-Objective Optimization Using Differential Evolution
In most real world multi-objective optimization problems the objectives are conflicting and therefore, they do not lend themselves to a single solution but result in a set of non-dominating solutions. Several issues arise in Multi-objective Optimization. Firstly, the entire search space has to be searched (in order to find all the good nondominated solutions) without getting stuck in local opti...
متن کاملConstrained Multi-Objective Optimization Using Differential Evolution
Most real-world optimization problems include multiple objective functions and several constraints. The Differential Evolution algorithm was initially developed for unconstrained single-objective problems and was shown to be a fast, simple algorithm. In order to utilize these advantages in real-world problems it was adapted for multi-objective optimization recently. In this work a multi-objecti...

This paper proposes a single-loop system reliability based design optimization (SRBDO) approach using the recently developed matrix-based system reliability (MSR) method. A single-loop method was employed to eliminate the inner loop of SRBDO that evaluates probabilistic constraints. The MSR method computes the system failure probability and its parameter sensitivities efficiently and accurately...
